Here is the brand new Diesel Fall Winter 2016 ad campaign. Decoding fashion culture and ‘telling it like it is’ between humour and honesty, this campaign follows on from the two previous ones from Diesel for Fall Winter 2015 and their social media/digital world for 2016. Since the brand is known for pushing boundaries, Diesel show their joyful and absurd behaviour with a no nonsense campaign, shot by photographers Santiago & Mauricio.

“We worked with director/photographer duo Santiago & Mauricio to shoot beautiful and impactful images where the product is celebrated with a twist on the traditional advertising images.” says Artistic Director Nicola Formichetti. “It is really important for us to continue speaking the same language that we started with the Fall Winter 15 campaign, and keep the connection and interaction it created with our audience.”

The campaign was inspired by the humorous parallel between the typical fashion images versus their “behind-the-scenes” reality. Diesel conveyed a social commentary on the images adding a touch of fun. Santiago & Mauricio captured the brands rock style interpreted in a pop way and the clothes are a new take on today’s trends, including a strong 90s feeling throughout the collection.

Military classics are paired with fashion blues creating new hybrids, while different camo inspired designs are pieced together while ‘parachute’ strap details run across bomber jackets.
